NTRP Community Outreach Event: Supporting the Texas Ramp Project

Join the North Texas Relocation Professionals (NTRP) as we give back to our community through a volunteer outreach event with the Texas Ramp Project. Together, we will help build wheelchair ramps that provide safety, accessibility, and independence for individuals in need throughout our local communities.

This is a wonderful opportunity to connect with fellow mobility professionals while making a meaningful impact in the lives of others. No prior construction experience is necessary, and volunteers of all skill levels are welcome.

Volunteer Information

Parking

  • Please park at the front of the warehouse.
  • The rear of the warehouse is utilized for loading materials and should remain clear.

Project Timing

  • On average, ramps are completed within 3 to 6 hours; however, completion times may vary and are not guaranteed.

What to Wear

  • Please be prepared for safe construction work.
  • Closed-toe shoes are required.
  • Flip-flops, sandals, and similar footwear are unsafe and should not be worn.
  • Wear durable, comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely while constructing ramps.

Optional Items to Bring

  • Cordless drill (if you have one)
  • Work gloves
  • Snacks
  • Bug spray
  • Sunscreen
  • Plenty of water

Thank you for helping NTRP support the Texas Ramp Project's mission of improving mobility and independence for individuals in our communities. We look forward to serving alongside you and making a difference together!
