Welcome!

North Texas Relocation Professionals.
Dear fellow relocation
professionals,
In 2007, the North Texas Relocation
Professionals (NTRP) ended the year with 208 members
representing 95 companies. We facilitated three chapter
meetings, a workshop (we raised over $7,000 with a silent
auction and raffle during the workshop), an outing at the
Frisco Rough Riders, and a holiday breakfast in conjunction
with the Texas Relocation Network. On average, there were 125
attendees at each of our meetings, including 14 companies
enrolled as Star Sponsors.
On
December 7th, the NTRP held the Tenth Annual
Holiday Breakfast with over 120 participants from Texas,
Illinois, Nebraska, and New Mexico. Checks were presented to
two outreach organizations, Attitudes & Attires and the Union
Gospel Mission of Dallas. After a month-long drive, we were
able to donate more than 150 stuffed animals to the Dallas and
Fort Worth police departments. These were made available for
the officers to carry with them when assisting children and
some adults experiencing life trauma. We have in turn received
many heartwarming stories of the impact the animals are
having in providing a small sense of security to children.
Additionally, an officer presented one to a nursing home
resident who spoke her first word in six months when she
received one of the donations.
I was involved with the North Texas
Relocation Professionals when it was formed in 1989. During
the last 18 years I have learned a great deal from the
meetings. Most importantly, I have enjoyed the networking and
fellowship. It was not until I became involved as a committee
and board member that I recognized the true value and impact
that NTRP has had on my personal and professional career.
I encourage each of you to complete
the membership application and become a part of the North
Texas Relocation Professionals in 2008. You will be part of an
organization providing a forum in which social and
professional interaction, education, and growth are achieved.
Your company may also want to
become part of our Star Sponsor Program where you will gain
elevated visibility at our meetings, in our membership
directory, in our newsletters, and on our website.
I look forward to seeing you at our
meetings in 2008.
Warm regards,
Ruthie Polk
